Mail In Ballot

THE COMMISSIONERS OF FIRE DISTRICT NO. 5 IN THE TOWNSHIP OF GLOUCESTER, COUNTY OF CAMDEN SPECIAL ELECTION SEPTEMBER 12, 2026 NOTICE TO PERSONS WANTING MAIL-IN BALLOTS If you are a qualified and registered voter of the State who wants to vote by mail in the Special Election by The Commissioners of Fire District No. 5 in the Township of Gloucester, County of Camden, for approval or disapproval to expend the amount of $700,000 to acquire land located at 1773 Sicklerville Road, Sicklerville, New Jersey, and the building located thereon and to renovate said building, to be held on September 12, 2026, complete the application form below and send or deliver to the undersigned, or write or apply in person to the undersigned at once requesting that a mail-in ballot be forwarded to you. The request must state your home address and the address to which the ballot should be sent. The request must be dated and signed with your signature. You must complete the application form below and send it to the County Clerk where you reside or write or apply in person to the County Clerk where you reside to request a mail-in ballot. The name, address, and signature of any person who has assisted you to complete the mail-in ballot application must be provided on the application, and you must sign and date the application. No person may serve as an authorized messenger or bearer for more than three qualified voters in an election, but a person may serve as such for up to five qualified voters in an election if those voters are immediate family members residing in the same household as the messenger or bearer. No person who is a candidate in the election for which the voter requests a mail-in ballot may provide any assistance in the completion of the ballot or serve as an authorized messenger or bearer. A person who applies for a mail-in ballot must submit his or her application at least seven days before the election, but such person may request an application in person from the County Clerk up to 3 p.m. of the day before the election. Voters who want to vote by mail in all future elections will, after their initial request and without further action on their part, be provided with a mail-in ballot until the voter requests otherwise in writing, or beginning with the 2020 General Election cycle, if the voter does not vote by mail in four consecutive years, then the voter shall no longer be furnished with a mail-in ballot for future elections and the voter shall be notified in writing of the change. LOS COMISIONADOS DEL DISTRITO DE BOMBEROS N.° 5 EN EL MUNICIPIO DE GLOUCESTER, CONDADO DE CAMDEN ELECCIÓN ESPECIAL 12 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2026 AVISO PARA PERSONAS QUE DESEAN BOLETAS PARA VOTAR POR CORREO Si usted es un votante calificado y registrado del Estado que desea votar por correo en la Elección Especial de los Comisionados del Distrito de Bomberos N.° 5 en el Municipio de Gloucester, Condado de Camden, para aprobar o desaprobar el gasto de $700,000 para adquirir un terreno ubicado en 1773 Sicklerville Road, Sicklerville, Nueva Jersey, y el edificio allí ubicado, y para renovar dicho edificio, que se llevará a cabo el 12 de septiembre de 2026, complete el formulario de solicitud a continuación y envíelo o entréguelo al abajo firmante, o escriba o solicite en persona al abajo firmante de inmediato solicitando que se le envíe una boleta para votar por correo. Toda persona que solicite una papeleta por correo debe enviar su solicitud al menos siete días antes de la elección, pero dicha persona puede pedir una solicitud en persona al Secretario del Condado hasta las 3 p.m. del día anterior a la elección. Los votantes que deseen votar por correo en todas las elecciones futuras, después de su solicitud inicial y sin tener que hacer nada más de su parte, recibirán una papeleta por correo hasta que el votante solicite lo contrario por escrito, o a partir del ciclo de Elección General de 2020, si el votante no vota por correo en cuatro años consecutivos, entonces el votante ya no recibirá una papeleta por correo para futuras elecciones; se notificara al votante el cambio por escrito.
